Dorset is also home to one of Muskoka’s most iconic hikes: an easy and fun hiking trail the base of the Dorset Fire Tower. From the top, you can enjoy stunning views of Muskoka and Haliburton, and even see all the way to Algonquin Park. It’s particularly stunning in autumn when the fall colours are at their height.

Dwight is also where you’ll find two of the regions best bakeries: Henrietta’s Bakery and Erika’s Bakery are favourite haunts of people throughout Lake of Bays and beyond! Which one makes the best butter tarts? You’ll have to try them both and decide for yourself.
